About the artwork
When I first projected this piece onto a wall, something strange happened: people stared into the pulse of blue-pink flashes and claimed to hear a distant “hum of a crowd,” even though the sound was off. It felt like the image itself was emitting infrasound. What matters to me here isn’t the fire or the shape of the objects — those are legible without guidance — but the slight tremble between frames: microsecond gaps where the algorithm decides whether we’re witnesses or participants. I deliberately left those “raw seams”; on repeat, they begin to work like a metronome, syncing the viewer to the overall circulation. Step back a few meters, and the flashes blur into a single light drum: not events, but pure rhythm, experienced all at once.
